March 2nd is the Feast day for Saint Agnes of Bohemia, a medieval Bohemian princess who opted for a life of charity and piety over a life of luxury and comfort. She is one of seven women, excluding the Blessed Virgin, commemorated by name in the Canon of the Mass. She is the patron saint of chastity, gardeners, girls, engaged couples, rape victims, and virgins.
