My favorite book, The Alchemist, written by my favorite writer Paulo Coelho, is a beautiful Fable about following your dreams. I love this book with all my heart and I give it as a gift whenever possible. The gift I am sharing with you today is my favorite quotes from this inspiring and enlightening book.

There is an alchemy in sorrow. It can be transmuted into wisdom, which, if it does not bring joy, can yet bring happiness.
I love his writings,I feel like they are my own.That is why I fell in love with his words.I guess in the language he used in the book I am an alchemist.
i usually do not like to read, but when i read this book it really made me think. I really cannot explain why, but it did. THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING!!!!

Paolo Coelho has such a talent to write with simple and small words that penetrate the soul with amazing ease.
Alchemist is very good book, I like it so much. I learn a lot from Paulo’s book. Currently I’m reading “The Winner Stands Alone”.. can’t hardly wait to finish it ^_^

Always heard about the book but never got a chance to read it till this past festive season,decided to get the book & finish it before the yr end,cause i knew there were some profound truths & principles that i can carry with me into the new yr.
I stayed up all night reading the alchemist,when I realised i was halfway through i tried to read as slowly as possible so I dont finish,sad to say Ive finished it in less than 48 hours.
Its such an enlightening book I havent stopped talking bout it.
This yr i decided not to set any resolutions but like young Santiago I pledged to listen to my heart & follow my dreams!!!

It touches on what is true, which is that we as individuals have the choice to make our lives “better.” We can lead lives consisting of dreams fulfilled and goals accomplished. Choosing to exude positive energy can and will lead one to exist in a better place in this life.
